Lindsay Nickens LCSW
I’m a dynamic psychotherapist skilled at getting you unstuck
I offer a safe and supportive space where you can speak freely and without judgment. Together, we engage in a process of thoughtful exploration—one that deepens your understanding of how past and present experiences shape your feelings, relationships, and sense of self. Through this work, we identify what may be standing in the way of growth and fulfillment, and develop a path forward that fosters healing, resilience, and lasting change.
In addition to my work with individuals, I also work extensively with couples seeking to improve communication, rebuild trust, and navigate relational challenges. Whether you are facing conflict, disconnection, or a major life transition, I help both partners better understand each other’s emotional needs and the underlying dynamics that influence your relationship. My approach emphasizes empathy, curiosity, and collaboration to strengthen connection and promote meaningful change.
My goal is to help you move beyond patterns of pain, fear, or self-doubt, and to cultivate a greater sense of clarity and agency in your life. With warmth and clinical depth, I work to equip you with the insight and tools needed to live—and love—with more confidence, authenticity, and emotional well-being.
My Specialties Include:
Relationships, Premarital Counseling
Marriage, Separation, & Divorce (many of my couples have confronted addiction and infidelity to build a stronger relationship)
Parenting, & Co-Parenting
Transitioning To & From College (skilled at working with anxiety, depression, and restrictive eating)
Navigating challenging careers and toxic work environments
